Join artist Katie Surridge and peatland specialists for a walk around Askham Bog Nature Reserve. Explore the magnificent royal ferns, rare gingerbread sedge and spectacular displays of water violets found in this mosaic of fen, woodland and meadow.

We’ll be drawing and writing down our observations to use as inspiration in Thursday’s With a Flourish tile painting workshop. The floor tiles created will go on to be used as part of a new public art piece on University of Leeds Campus.
