Introducing Garden Gremlins
We’re thrilled to introduce Garden Gremlins, our brand-new stay-and-play group for children under 5 and their caregivers. Located in the Roxby Community Garden, these sessions are about letting little ones get loud, have fun, make friends, and use their imaginations.
What is Garden Gremlins?
Garden Gremlins is designed to offer high-quality early years provision with rich and meaningful opportunities for play and community building in Lincoln Green. Led by Beatrice Lee Knowles, an artist with a passion for creating playful, sensory, and collaborative experiences, the sessions promise to be a vibrant and inclusive space for everyone. Beatrice specializes in creating play opportunities for young children, neurodivergent people, and diverse communities. She believes everyone has the right to play without fear.
Why join Garden Gremlins?
1. Free and Fun:
Garden Gremlins is all about having fun while learning! Each session will be packed with activities designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and help kids develop skills like sharing, playing together and building their language abilities. Plus, it’s completely free to join!
2. Everyone is Welcome:
Whether you’re a local resident or you’re new to Leeds, Garden Gremlins is a place where families from all backgrounds can feel at home.
3. Connect with Others:
Garden Gremlins is not just for kids—it's for parents and caregivers too! Our sessions are a great opportunity to meet other families, share experiences, and build connections. We understand that raising young children can sometimes feel isolating, so we’re here to help build a supportive community around you.
4. Inclusive play :
We believe every child deserves the chance to play, no matter their background or abilities. Our activities are designed to be inclusive and adaptable, making sure all children can join in the fun! We’ll be using sensory play and other engaging activities that are enjoyable for everyone.
